The Big Give Christmas Challenge 2023

Save the Date!

Dear Friends and Supporters, Women’s Education Partnership (WEP) is delighted to once again take part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge to support our vital work educating women and girls in Sudan and South Sudan. Our work delivers programmes to women and girls from disadvantaged backgrounds and deprived areas, often those who have fled violence and conflict.

Above, scenes from our South Sudan health, nutrition, literacy and university scholarship programmes. Read more in Health and Literacy in South Sudan; Outposts of Hope

South Sudan is the poorest country in the world. The people of Sudan are suffering the agonies of civil strife. Our current priority is supporting literacy programmes and sponsoring diplomas in healthcare in South Sudan. In Sudan, we are dedicated to delivering our literary and other education programmes as and when it is safe to do so. We are already offering small scale literacy classes in safe areas.

Could you help us to carry on our work and make a difference to the lives of young South Sudanese?

If you would like to donate and DOUBLE YOUR GIFT, SAVE THE DATE AND DONATE!

Here’s how it works:

Your donation will be doubled from the match pot kindly pledged to WEP by generous supporters and by our champion backer, The Reed Foundation. To double your gift, please wait until the campaign starts at midday on 28th November before making your donation, or it won’t count towards doubling your gift. Your donation will be doubled from the match pot until it is exhausted.

Learn more about our work in Women’s Education Partnership Big Give 2023

Remember the magic window for donations starts 28th November. It ends on 5th December.

As always, we are profoundly grateful for your support at this very difficult time.
