Sudan: A Visual Art Narrative
An Exhibition of Pioneer Artists, Curated by Dr. Fathi Osman and Yafil Mubarak
Through a selection of rare and influential works, this show traces Sudan’s modern art movement, from its roots in the 1940s to the emergence of the iconic Khartoum School and beyond. It is a celebration of cultural identity, resistance, and imagination across generations. The exhibition features work by Ibrahim El Salahi, Kamala Ishag, Osman Waquialla, and many more.

You can see the exhibition until 13th July at Almas Art Foundation,, Arch 28, Old Union Yard Arches, 229 Union Street, London SE1 OLR. It is open Monday to Saturday 11.00 am – 6.00 pm, Sunday 11 – 4.00pm.
