Mrs Neimat Issha, our Director in Khartoum, below left, and Mrs Adila Osman, our literacy coordinator talk about the everyday challenges facing so many in Khartoum this Holy Month of Ramadan.

Our literacy beneficiaries are among the poorest in Khartoum and have been especially hard hit by recent economic upheavals. Adila tells us:

We are so grateful to Neimat and her team, Adila, Saudi and Hoyam for their tireless dedication during such difficult times. In often alarming and stressful circumstances, the best things we can do is to keep calmly working on day by day and that is what we are doing.
